Great article! I'd be kinda surprised if any religious group took it *too* seriously, though I would like it if they did.

If God is actually the great separator rather than the creator, that leaves us with a few new questions.

Did I ever tell you about a Kabbalistic interpretation that I liked? It begins with 'in the beginning was the word', and God literally *spoke* the universe into existence. This was at a time when the word and the thing was inseperable. A holy language called loshen kodesh. This language became obliterated from the world when humans attempted to build the tower of babel, and God zapped them with confusion, in which the word and the thing were no longer the same.
